Festive Season

Hi all,

December is here and Christmas is almost upon us; it's hard to believe that we are nearly finishing another year.  Hopefully the stress levels are low and everyone is getting quality time with family.  

My latest piece, 'Forever Friends' holds a special place in my heart.  My children standing at the lough shore in Pettigo, a little border village between Donegal and Fermanagh,  where my dad is originally from.  Inspired by a beautiful summer sunset, it was quiet, peaceful and depicts a little piece of heaven by the water.  I wanted to bring that peace into the artwork and evoke feelings of togetherness and quality time together, while appreciating our surroundings.

I am planning a series of Pettigo scenes, to pay tribute to the place we love, one with a deep family connection for us.  Keep following along on Instagram @ciarabcreative for the progress and check in on the website for the final pieces.
